The rooms were what you would expect for the price: lumpy mattresses, somewhat clean. Nice little pool and patio for breakfast. Suites were spacious and well equipped. What make the place great are the price, location, and extremely helpful staff, all of which make D'Galah a great home base in Costa Rica. To get away from the smog and traffic of San Jose, you can walk across the street to the lovely campus of the University of Costa Rica, and further on to affordable decent eats.
