My husband, 2 grown children & I stayed in Maggie's Place cabin 3 nights while visiting Denali National Park. It was clean and comfy w/an Alaskan decor, caribou antlers, etc. The cabin's big living rm. windows overlook a beautiful lake where we watched a Bald Eagle, Dall Sheep on the cliffs, and enjoyed a bbq grill & firepit. Even though it's just off the Parks Hwy., it's back far enough where traffic noise isn't a problem. It has 2 comfy bedrooms upstairs, with a double and single bed in ea. bedroom, modern bathroom facilities, & even has an addt'l apartment on the back to rent if you need more sleeping space. We loved it! My husband & son fished the lake (at an addt'l fee) until mid-night & my children took a beautiful hike Kirk recommended. Kirk and his resident dog were great hosts, very knowledgeable about the area and accomodating!
