Huahine is a nice island but not the place to stay longer than 3 days (we stayed 5). Mauarii is more a hotel than a pension - lacks of privacy. Very quirky and interesting place. Was supposed to stay 3 nights but only stayed for 1. Very friendly guy on the reception counter too. Place looks cheap & it's cheaply built, with local plywood, stones, twigs & logs etc., just a few feet from the beach, but it's expensive to stay here.
