As a last minute treat we opted to try and get rooms at the Alyeska Resort just after Christmas. Not only did we get rooms but we got a military discount. For some reason (economy I suppose) the occupancy rate was down so they were willing to cut the rates to get their occupancy up. Parking in the winter can... More

Room was very, very good. Sitting places all around, even outside your room. You have a doorbell for your room, that can be disabled. It is so comfortable there. The staff is friendly. They come around to give you chocolate mints in the evening. The pool is a nice size; however, it gets a lot of use, and needs to... More

Drove four hours to get to the hotel and the power was out. Our reaervation for dinner was cancelled, I ordered a birthday cake for my husband it wasn't there. We weren't compensated or called to be told that if we stayed at the hotel we would not have power in our room. Special weekend was ruined because we drove... More

I wished we could have stayed here longer. Hotel was amazing, the grounds and trails made for easy hiking and the feel was excellent. More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel as a last minute addition to our Alaksan trip. This hotel is pretty much faultless, excellent setting and facilities, fantastic resturants to choose from (the miso black cod from the Japanese resturant was to die for). Arrived in the morning and were given early checkin then extended our stay within the same... More

Stayed at the resort several times during a road trip around Alaska. The price was awesome for a resort such as this (although it was shoulder season btwn summer activities and winter skiing). Super friendly staff with reasonable rates. It's at the bottom of the cable car (which was a $20 trip to top - definately worth it; stunning views).... More
