This cottage was cute but very poorly equipped and obviously not checked by management. There was ice build up on the stairs which was dangerous. There were no tea towels and only one butter knife in a "complete kitchen" with a capability of sleeping 4. There were several pots and pans but none had lids. The manager was not in the office... More

I met the owner's mother over email while trying to book a place to stay. She was very helpful and even offered making a Gluten Free Cake if the Bakery in town could not. We arrived to a very happy dog and environment and stayed in both cabin 1 and 2. Cute, Clean and Separated. We never ran out of... More

My husband and I are on a military pcs, we drove the Yukon and arrived in Haines a day early. All of the other Hotels/motels in the area were booked or did not look inviting. (We could not keep our reservation due to arriving early) The owner here was awesome she listened to what we needed and made it work... More

The owners were awesome, 8 of us got kicked out of a $525 per night lodge for being a younger (but responsible) group of adults. They had a place ready for us and charged us next to nothing to stay. All they asked is that we clean up. It was so welcoming and the staff so friendly! I would recommend... More

Stayed in one of the cabins. Really neat with a good view. The main building was under construction, so not sure how the rooms are. Cabin had a full kitchen with utensils provided. Pull out couch, dining room table, bathroom with shower cabinet, and a loft with a comfy bed. Pet friendly. Also very friendly staff.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Cabin 2 over the weekend of the SE Alaska State Fair. The only thing that was a bit off was the lightness of the cabin, as it had vertical blinds that didn't darken the room, however we are early risers, so not too put off by it. We loved the location, it was... More

Stayed in cabin #1 for one night. It was OK. Nothing special, but clean. Nice view out the window. Looks like the main lodge is getting a make over and this could be a really neat place to stay when they finish. I would probably stay here again if in Haines. The owner who checked us in seemed very nice.

This is one of the best value accommodations in Haines, owned by a young couple (and their daughter as housekeeping). The owner is really kind, answered immediately all our needs, when we asked about laundry he just took it from us and put in their machine… They are still building it, but it’s already nice, comfortable, and in really reasonable...
