My wife and I spent three nights with Henry and Janet at the Vista View, and it was very enjoyable. First of all, the scenery around Homer is breathtaking. And the views from the B&B are incredible -- right off the porch. There's a glacier off to the left and a great view of Homer Spit slightly to the right.

For breakfast, we had blueberry pancakes and fresh fruit. Another time we had French toast, sausage links and fresh fruit. Henry and Janet were a ready source of information about the area, and would offer suggestions of places to see if we wanted.

Our room was a little on the small size, but had a small deck off of it with a sliding glass door, and we had a view of the glacier out the door.

One day, when returning to the B&B, we got close-up to a moose along the road. Also we found out that one day while we were gone, they had been visited by a couple of bears. So wildlife abounds there.
