We had a very nice stay because Ocean Shores has a thoughtful and helpful staff. Their suggestions about restaurants proved to be excellent and their help with internet access and the ease with which they accommodated our schedule were most helpful. We will choose Ocean Shores the next time we are in Homer. more

The moment we arrived at Ocean Shores, my Sprint cell phone died. I called 1-800 and sprint was able to UPS a new phone to the Motel. Basic, clean, and large with a great view of the water. The people here are extremely nice and the room is just great, although not plush. We had a large room with a microwave and refrig. It was everything we wanted at a very affordable price. You will be happy here. more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Shores. Our balcony overlooked the beach, the room was large, clean and comfortable, and there was internet access available. We will definitely stay here longer on our next trip to Alaska. Homer is a great little town! more

At the end of the tourist season, so lodging owners and staff are worn out. But, the room was clean, had a nice outside deck, and decent bathroom. That being said, there was no radio, nor any of the other 'amenities' one has come to expect, and which are pretty cheap to furnish. more
