This B&B is a located in a wooded area high on the mountainside overlooking the Kachemak Bay making the 15-minute, no-hassle drive to the Spit very worthwhile (and now, having been to the Spit, I wouldn't have wanted to stay near there anyway). Had it not been for the smoke from many Alaska forest fires hundreds of miles away, we would have had stunning views of the glaciers across the bay. We stayed in the Love room with a king and 2 twin beds, each being most comfortable. In the morning if you're there when breakfast is served, you'll be treated to a gourmet breakfast, but if you have to leave earlier, an eat-and-go breakfast will be readied for you along with homemade muffins and time-brewed fresh coffee.
