Stayed the first night in one of the older rooms with bunk beds that the kids loved. Very noticeable was the level of cleanliness of the room, which can be a deal breaker for us. The room was spotless and smelled fresh. Next two nights,we moved to the lodge portion of the property. The view of the sunsets and rises... more

Homer, Alaska in and of itself is an incredible city to visit, but add staying at the Driftwood Inn and you now have an incredibly memorable visit. The Driftwood Inn not only boasts the Historic Inn but also has various Lodges on the gorgeous Kachemak Bay. We stayed in the modern Seaside Lodge, a "house" transformed into a lodge. The... more

My dad and I stayed three nights at the Driftwood. The people who worked at the Inn were really friendly and helpful, even loaning me rain gear one day. The rooms are very unique and had everything we needed. The location is awesome because you can walk out on the beach from your room and see a venting volcano. We... more

We stayed in the RV section of the Inn. Our motor home overlooked the Kachemark Bay and we woke up every morning to a great view and fresh coffee in the office. We especially enjoyed the handy laundry and showers. With six in the motor home, a separate shower was very handy to get us all out and moving in... more

A friend of mine and I rode to Homer from Anchorage. We stayed at The Driftwood Inn. Despite the economical price, the staff were very friendly and the accomodations were much better than expected. I highly recommend staying there. If and when we plan our next trip to Homer, we will be staying at the Driftwood. Oh, and you HAVE... more

We don't like staying a "cookie cutter" hotels - especially when staying in interesting locations. We chose the Driftwood Inn and are SO happy that we did! The room was, no doubt, small. However, it was very clean and had a great view (which we requested). We had an attached bath, which always makes it better with a 2 year... more

RV park is ok if you are passing through, but I would not recommend for several days. It is way to small and too close to your neighbor! Staff seemed very nice but not well trained or just confused, but the owner personally mailed me an apology because of our certain situation and a receipt for our refund. That is... more

My sister and I stayed at this cozy, friendly motel in Homer. The price was perfect for the accommodations. The staff was helpful. After checking out they called my sister's house to let her know she had left her sweatshirt. On the way out of town we stopped to pick it up. They helped me find a tourist event in... more

We recently had the opportunity to spend time in Homer, AK, for a family wedding. We stayed at the Driftwood Inn. In all my travels, I have never experienced the level of hospitality displayed by the Driftwood Inn Staff. Every member was more than willing to accommodate any service request, answer numerous questions, provide immediate assistance with any personal problem... more

This hotel is simple but clean. The front desk was very helpful. The living area is just as cozy as at home. The staff helped me upgrade to a bigger room with better view. I forgot my gloves and hats in the room, they found them and mail them back to me. I am glad to stay at Driftwood Inn. It... more
