The Heritage is a basic but clean hotel, well located for several nearby restaurants and as a base for the area. The town of Homer is very spread out with two distinct areas; the "downtown" area and The Spit. Like the other review indicated...public areas were great. Had a GREAT coffee machine that made each cup fresh...REALLY GOOD coffee. Our room was okay. Cute from the outside, with a well maintained lobby and public areas (just like the picture, notable efforts to keep it nice - furniture, well cared for plants, scented candles, pictures in the halls).
