May 2005, shoulder season; spent 5 nights at this incredible location across the Bay from the Homer Spit! Accommodations were comfy, cozy and warm--and they were" Tentalows" canvas-roofed timber-framed cabins with sitting area, wonderfully warm king beds. Accessed by their own 44' Delta cabin cruiser, this lodge on a secluded bay oozed charm and warmth, with a gorgeous wharf-life view from the main eating, social area. Sea otters and seals are right in the Bay to entertain you while you watch the tide.
There's even a private one-room lodge for guests separate from cabins and the main home. There's a separate bath house for showers, and quaint outhouses...but that shouldn't deter you, really!
