Wonderful location. This cozy little cabin was practially good enough to live in. We stayed in the Tidewater Cabin. These cabins are on the way to the Homer Spit. From outside you can see the spit, the gulf, and the mountains across Kachemak Bay. The lighthouse actually works, and there is a deck next to it from which you can look for shorebirds. There's also a restaurant and an art studio on the property, but we didn't visit them.... more
