This is a large house overlooking the Homer Spit and the bay. Just lovely. Our hostess was friendly but never arrived for breakfast so we helped ourselves! My husband and I spent 5 days and 4 nights in Homer at the Bay Avenue Bed and Breakfast and we absolutely loved it. It has everything you want--great hosts, spectacular views, comfy beds, great food... We had a bay view room with a private bath. The bed was comfortable and there were black out blinds to make sleeping easier... more

Great beach and boots. Stayed for7 days the rope leading to the beach was fun,and they had mud boots for exsploring low tide. The location was great. more

At this property you could easily get an early start to your day and make something small on your own for breakfast, or you could have a great full breakfast with Lori, the host, and visit with other guests. The owner and her daughters actually picked us up on the spit after a couple long nights out at sea! The room and the amenities were outstandingly cozy and tranquil and we used the deck to dry off all of our camping gear. Bay Avenue B&B was the perfect location for our trip to Homer. It had recently changed owners and the rooms were all redone with new beds, bedding and furniture. It is located on a bay just outside the center of town and the Homer spit (great local color). It was great to be near everything, especially all the small shops... more
