Laurie is a wonderful hostess. The B & B is modern, clean, comfortable, good common areas including a large deck and yard. It is well located near town, great views on the water. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The breakfasts are great and you have access to a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and gas grill. more

This is a large house overlooking the Homer Spit and the bay. Just lovely. Our hostess was friendly but never arrived for breakfast so we helped ourselves! My husband and I spent 5 days and 4 nights in Homer at the Bay Avenue Bed and Breakfast and we absolutely loved it. It has everything you want--great hosts, spectacular views, comfy beds, great food... We had a bay view room with a private bath. Great beach and boots. Stayed for7 days the rope leading to the beach was fun,and they had mud boots for exsploring low tide. The location was great. more

This was my favorite place to stay during my trip to Alaska. At this property you could easily get an early start to your day and make something small on your own for breakfast, or you could have a great full breakfast with Lori, the host, and visit with other guests.
