Our room wreaked of alcohol & cigs... it was like entering a bar. It looked like the room was just plain worn out. Definitely some shady looking characters hanging around the bar area of the hotel. We were very disappointed & we won't be staying here again.

This really has more of a motel fee, than a hotel. Doors to rooms open directly to the outside. Fairly run down looking, some dodgy locals hanging around. Room was not great by any stretch, would give it two stars but the breakfast was surprisingly good.

I, my husband and 2 dogs stayed 2 nights during the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival. We had to switch rooms because maintenance couldn't fix the draining problem in the bathroom. I spent the night here and slept pretty good on the bed I had. Rooms are ok but pretty plain. The breakfast was fine too but nothing special. Fairly noisy too in my room but it did have a microwave and refrigerator so that was a plus.
