The Silverbow Inn is conveniently located near the waterfront, and perhaps even more enticing, a bakery/restaurant that also provides goodies to guests. Our entire wedding party stayed here and we had an awful experience. Our room was never cleaned, two of our guests got folliculitis from the hot tub (disgusting), the staff and management were AWFUL, and our rates were changed mid-stay. This hotel has funky, hippie-style, old-fashioned charm, but was spotlessly clean and had every standard amenity you could want. Unique rooms, great breakfast, folk jams, and walking tours of downtown highlighted our visit to the University. Loved the annotated restaurant guide which was perfect for first time visitors, and used the trail maps to start some fun exploring. Too bad the hot tub on the deck wasn't open but next time...
