You can't beat the setting of this place -the property is on several acres of land, down a dirt road about 20 minutes outside Juneau. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, which is a good thing for most of us! We loved waking up every morning and seeing the change of the tide in front of the house. (We stayed in the BUNGALOW, there is also a larger cabin.) The water was an amazing teal color and we saw porpoises and seals almost every morning.
We were a little disappointed with the cabin itself and I think for the high price, our nitpicks are work mentioning here.
It might have just been our impression but the bungalow just didn't look as good in person as it did on the Website. For whatever reason, we had our hopes up too high. We were a little let down when we walked in.
The house just looks like it needs a little bit of love and attention. It didn't feel totally clean to me like I would expect at a high price place. It was kind of...
