We wanted a place that was near the downtown area so that we wouldn't have to drive all of the time. We also wanted a quiet, interesting place with some charm and personality. We hoped for interesting and helpful hosts who would welcome us and make us feel at home. We got all that and more. Although FOOD itself wasn't... More

I would recommend staying here since it is centrally located in downtown and the owners make you feel like you are home away from home. The expansive breakfast was so good and was different everyday. They sure made sure you had enough food fuel to give you lots of energy for your day. The rooms were cozy and beds were... More

I went to Juneau on business and when my plane landed in Juneau my Verizon cell phone wouldn't receive a signal. I was absolutely panicked. Upon checking into the Alaska's Capital Inn, I explained my situation to the owner (Linda). Linda gave me her personal cell phone until I eventually got my phone to work later that day (just needed... More

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Alaska Capital Inn this past summer. First and foremost, the inn's hosts are incredibly friendly and gracious. They gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants, hikes, and activities, and offered me a special snack when I arrived to the inn late at night from the airport. What most impressed me, however, was the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Capital Inn. Great location, cozy room, wonderful Inn keepers, SUPER YUMMY BREAKFAST! I wish someone would cook like that for me every morning!!! Very wonderful touches and just delightful everything. We would totally go back for a wonderful place and a very enough to walk to downtown Juneau. Thanks Capital Inn!

Alaska's Capital Inn B&B is highly recommended if you would like to spend time in Alaska's capital city. The Inn is extremely well-located - an easy walk to the 'NOT TO BE MISSED' State Museum of Alaskan Culure and Juneau's shopping district. Add in an absolutely delightful owner/manager couple who take care of the little things that make your Juneau... More

We stayed for 2 nights, before getting on a small boat to cruise the inside passage. Linda and Mark were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were really good. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Our daughter had a cast on her foot and Linda gave us several rides around town. Thanks Again!

Stayed here for a couple of days in July. The room was very small although the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful although we found it slightly uncomfortable to sit around one table for breakfast and have to make polite conversation with the other guests first thing in the morning! We thought the room was rather expensive but... More

The Capital Inn is a lovely place to stay. The innkeepers are warm and welcoming, and the inn is an historical venue with an interesting past. I've only stayed here in the winter during session. I've stayed in several of the rooms, with my favorite being the one at the top of the house, with the big bathroom and tub.... More

Linda and Mark are so welcoming and wonderful. We recently stayed in Lelas suite which was very comfortable. Very nice bathroom. Breakfasts hearty and delicious. It is clear that much thought is given to how to make the guests feel at home. Linda and Mark should train other b&b owners. Dont stay anywhere else in Juneau if you can stay... More
