On a recent trip to Alaska, we planned on three days in the Kenai penisula. I found this property via a web search and emailed them for additional info. The owner called back and after several emails and calls, they provided me with extensive info on hiking, trips, drives and things to do in the area. They couldn't have been more helpful. We reserved a cabin and paid in advance. On arrival, they took us to our cabin and I realized it only had twin beds. They immediately moved us to a cabin with a double bed and that evening, the owner stopped by with a very nice bottle of wine in way of an apology for the confusion! The draw for the area is fishing and the cabins (really very nice log homes!) are typically used by fisherman there for the salmon runs. If you are traveling to this area for fishing, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else with nicer accomodations or more wonderful hosts! It has a full kitchen and we cooked two meals on the outside grill provided and breakfast...
