We, a family of four, two boys (9 and 12), my wife and I stayed at Teddy's for three nights. This B+B is nestled in the woods about 1/4 mile off the Highway 9 to Seward close to mile 23. The room is located on the 2nd floor on top of a thoughtfully renovated barn, a charmer the moment you see it. Teddy pays attention to every little detail, the flowers match the decor, little crafts here and there, and then there are the two cubbys for the kids to sleep in. We found Teddy's to be an ideal place to plan trips to Seward, the Kenai Lake and the Russian River area. There are plenty of great hikes in the immediate vicinity and if you just want to relax in the cabin there are plenty of reads and music CDs to listen to. Teddy's breakfasts were wonderful, something different each morning (warm scones, french toast), which started us off well on some memorable days on the Kenai. more
