We stayed at their sister property, The Colony Inn, which is a restored teachers' dormitory. The uniquely decorated rooms were charming, clean, loaded with amenities, and comfortable beds. Older hotel showing age. Rooms basic & clean. Beds good. Bathrooms small but adequate. Attrached cafe open 24 hrs-excellent. Fresh pastries, great service, good food value. Front desk clerk was unattentive & rude during checkin & checkout. more

The Valley Hotel is in downtown Palmer. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and the rooms are upstairs. The room was basic, with 2 twin beds. Reminded me of Europe. The price was reasonable for what it is, $75. The shower had plenty of pressure, which was very pleasant. The restaurant has good food, but there are others nearby.... more

We arrived in Palmer late in the evening and were extremely pleased that we stopped at the Valley Hotel. The room was spotless and the food, especially the pies, in the hotel restaurant was terriffic. I strongly recommend the Valley Hotel. more
