Audie and Jenny have done a wonderful job of creating a comfortable, enjoyable retreat far away from towns and the conveniences that come with them. When you stay here leave your preconceived notions behind and get into the spirit of the place. It's almost entirely off the grid. We enjoyed experiencing what it's like to be self-reliant in this beautiful... More

Don't plan on sleeping much, the water pump motor turns on and off every few minutes and it is next to the bed. Plan to read little messages placed everywhere in the cabin. Don't use too much toilet paper, place dirty towels in pamper, don't turn the heat too high, don't put bed spread on floor, don't wear shoes indoors,... More

Stayed here for just 1 night but this spot deserves a longer stay. Cabins are exactly what are described and had something we hardly found anywhere else - a kettle! (you cant make drinkable tea in a microwave or coffe maker). Had a great view from our porch and woke up to snow covered peaks which made the morning drive... More

We stayed at the Denali Highway Cabins in early September. The cabins were very aesthetically attractive and cosy. They were in a secluded spot by the River. Breakfast was delicious with home made breads and muffins, hot porridge, good coffee, freshly laid eggs and fresh fruit. The host Jenny was helpful in suggesting local hikes. For dinner, we ate a... Totally agree with all of the positive reviews of this oasis in the middle of rural Alaska. The cabins are clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. Audie and Jenny were perfect hosts, very helpful and accommodating with suggestions of nearby restaurants (limited, as previously noted) and activities We were treated to a moose during an early morning hike at Swan Lake.... What a great place to stay! The cabins are very nice, well maintained and very comfortable. Just a nice retreat to get back to yourself and nature. For dinner we went up the Denali Highway to the Tangle River Inn. The drive is simply spectaculair. What a gorgious landscape and views. There are enough options for a hike and we... More

Right on the river, most comfortable bed in Alaska. Super bird watching place. I recommend it. The owners are very nice, and they really make you feel at home. The hike to Swan Lake is lovely and there were bear and moose signs everywhere.

My wife and I stayed two nights in the Alvin cabin while on a birding trip to the area. This is serious rural AK and most of the accommodations and eateries in the area are, frankly, dumps. Audie and Jenny have created a real oasis here. The cabins are excellent, very comfortable, nicely appointed with upscale features. Very comfortable bed,... More

We stayed at the Denali Highway Cabins for one night in the later part of June on our way from Denali National Park to Seward, via-Fairbanks. All in all this was a great place to stay, but there were a few drawbacks. On arrival the grounds seemed somewhat messy and disorganized, but this seemed to be the standard for most... More

We stayed at the Denali Cabins last week and loved it. It was above and beyond what we expected. The rooms were very cozy, the scenery was amazing and our hosts were fantastic. The breakfast the next morning was the best continental breakfast I have ever had. I eat gluten free and it is very hard to find that while... More
