We stayed at Caribou Crossing Cabins, unfortunately for only 1 night....but what a great place. Great location between Soldotna and Kenai, located off K-Beach Road. Set back away from the main hustle/bustle. Beautiful wooded setting. We were greeted by the family who owes the property - extremely nice people. Dianna even came out in the evening and sat around the firepit with us. She told us all about living in Alaska and how they came to build and open Caribou Crossing Cabins. We stayed in the Grizzly cabin which had a loft upstairs w/a queen bed. Downstairs was a full lower bunk and a twin upper bunk. There is a bathroom w/shower, kitchen facilities w/dishes, pans, etc. There is a "wood burner" (gas stove) to warm you up. Dining area and wrap-around deck. There are 3 other smaller units in a separate cabin. There are also laundry facilities onsite as well. As we went out to sit by the firepit a moose walked about 10 feet behind our cabin. We...
