The Blue Moose Lodge, located on Longmere Lake, was not the accomodations that were advertised, or as discussed with the Owner. The lodge also serves as a dog kennel, there are rusted cars, trucks and trailers littered around the property, the guest lodge is new though the the view out of the window is of thick trees behind several septic pipes sticking out of the ground and piles of construction trash. There is no view or access to the lake, only marshy swamp. The dog kennel is also located within the front door of the main lodge house and this is where the meals are to be served to guests, I suppose K-9 and human, alike. The advertised covered spa was covered with a brown Targed tarp that was tied to fence and roof. We left after a few short hours and are in the midst of trying to regain our deposit. more
