We usually do not choose B and B's because of the lack of privacy and the fact that MANY have shared bathrooms.
River's Edge B & B is the exception to the rule. Forrest and Oscar Nelson run the place. We only met Forrest and she was great! She had restraurant suggestions and information on the river. She was easy to deal with and friendly.
They have two rooms on a quiet road, with a private entrance to the B & B rooms. We spent three nights then came back later in our vacation for a fourth night. We got to try out both rooms.
The Blue room was nice, quiet, had a river view. It had a queen bed, which was comfortable. The room also had a futon bunk bed, so it could of slept three or four more people. VERY IMPORTANT in our book, a full bathroom, with very nice towels.
The Red room was wonderful. It had a king bed again very comfortable, with two extra beds if you had more in your party. A nice size television, sliding glass doors. A FULL BEAUTIFUL BATHROOM... more
