There really aren't any good hotels in this area. We only stayed in the area as we were visiting friends that lived nearby. Hotel is close to the major road and is noisy. No air conditioning. I am writing this review from my room in the Aspen Soldotna hotel. I'm in a terribly grumpy mood, and for that I blame the hotel's lack of adequate sound proofing in the rooms.
