I know that the hotel itself is very old but they have to try their best to keep theier service quality to be 5 stars hotel in Tianjin. The working environment itself is terrible so their service is poor.

Location is not bad; there's a Din Tai Fung 5mins away, you can see the radio tower from the hotel (admidst the heavily polluted brown sky). I stayed a couple of separate nights in August. A terrific hotel. Friendly, attentive staff. Very comfortable rooms. Terrific buffet breakfast and dinner! I will certainly stay again and strongly recomend the hotel.
