There are just a few simple but stylishly and tastefully done cottages at the Pimenta. The most attentive and helpful host, Jacob, can show you really special things and places around the farm and arrange everything according to your needs and wishes. Loads of food - tasty, could be spicier though - is served at the communal area with nice... more

The Pimenta is a beautiful little spice farm in inland Kerala. The bungalows are really well constructed with effective mesh over all doors and windows to keep beasties out (not that we noticed many mosquitoes there). They are ideal for a couple but with an extra bed for our little children to share, it was somewhat cramped. The gardens are... more

After stumbling across the Pimenta's website accidently whilst on our holiday in Kerela we decided it might be a nice place to chill out for a couple of days before we headed back to London. It turned out our prediction was correct and we had a fantastic time. Jacob was a perfect host and kept us entertained with trips to... more

We spent 21 days in Kerala travelling and we stayed at Cochin,Alleppy, (homestay & on a houseboat) and 7 nights at a hotel in Chowarra. It has taken us some time to get round to writing a review but with such wonderful memories, hardly a day goes by without we think of some aspect of our stay at Pimenta. We were more than delighted by the chalets which were well appointed and Jacob and his family worked hard to make everyone feel welcome and valued.... more

We just got back from a week's cooking holiday at the Pimenta and had a wonderful time. The bungalow was great, the food wonderful and Jacob took care of us really well. We also really liked the tour of the farm with Jacob's son - it was really amazing how many different things they grow there - from coffee beans... more

I visited The Pimenta from 16th of February to the 24th of February 2008.I have been back now a few weeks and do not normally take the time to write reviews, even though I have visited some amaizing regions around the world. The reason I am compelled to write this one is that the experience has lingered and stayed in... more

My adult daughter and I enjoyed three restful days at The Pimenta, an organic spice farm in Kerala. The Pimenta is a beautiful gem, in the foothills of the Western Ghats and just over an hour from Cochin. The guest house is all you would ask for in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Our bungalow was tastefully furnished with colorful... more

Haritha Farms had the loveliest, most well thought-out accommodations and the finest food of any place we stayed in four weeks of travel throughout Southern India. Our one mistake was in having booked ourselves into only two nights here, instead of more! This is a bio-diverse farm in the foothills of the western Ghats, with four superbly designed and constructed... more

We arrived at Haritha Farms after a harrowing week of awful accommodations in Goa - and we almost cried when we saw how glorious it all was! The property has four newly fitted, comfortable bungalows for absolute peace, quiet, and privacy. The bathroom fixtures are all brand new (a total luxury in India) and the room was lovely, well decorated... more
