Excellent for a family vacation in Kerala. Good location, a private beach... excellent service. Indian cuisine is good esp. the breakfast is excellent. Thai food is average, it has an two pools one at the bottom and one near the dining place. View form dining area is superb.

Stayed in The Leela, Kovalam for a conference in 1st week of May 13. The twin sharing beach-side villa rooms were very nice. outside property is maintained well but not the cottages. most of the things inside the cottage needs a change like bath tub,doors, furnitures etc Lot of communication problems between the employees right from the front office to the housekeeping department food not up to the mark, definitely not the leela standard overall it is just a average property

Excellent location, nicely maintained and awsome location. Only downside is that the beach is not private. nice infinity pool and sea deck. stayed there for 3 nights. restaurant is nicely laid out just next to the pool. Food could be better in selection of menu, variety and preparation.
