we have not been for 3 yrs. I am longing to return in jan 09. rooms basic but this is india on the cheap, right in the middle of the bay,you can wake up and see the sea, We have never been ill here,dont have air con, get used to the heat.dying to see the pool. more

Excellent location - with beautifully kept pool. We were there over New Year and although the hotel full there was no feeling of over-crowding. The staff were very friendly and lots of beach restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked well - we did have to ask to get sheets but when they arrived they were clean.... more

Hotel is close to the beach..or to be more precise bang on the beach.....Moderately priced..Rooms need a touch of paint and the Bathrooms need to be renovated as they seem to be leaking.....The pool is well maintained.....Friendly staff and Helpful....Good shacks in the vicinity....Fusion is a good restaurant offering a choice and the view is amazing....Beatles is another recommended one.......cause... more

Basic, but sufficent rooms, ensuite with fan, and great balconcy over looking sea and pool. Pool was fantastic, clean and overlooking beach, plenty of sunloungers, but may get very overcrowded inpeak season, we had hotel to ourselves most of the time. Breakfast was ok, coffee, eggs, juice, cereal etc. Very friendly staff. Very child friendly and clean. more

We have just returned from satying at this Pappukaddy. As most people have said the location is fantastic, right in the centre of Lighthouse beach. However it is very quiet.
