The hotel is around 5 km from Kovalam centre which means you are at the mercy of the local taxis if you want to travel to eat. The hotel is broken into two seperate sites. We stayed in the top part where there was a lovely terraced restaurant. We booked one of the cheapest rooms which didn't have air conditioning... more

Thapovan is a secluded Heritage Home situated on the S. Kerala coast and close to Trivandrum International airport. There are a variety of cottage type accomodations both small and large and all are well appointed. The staff are happy to help you with ideas both on and off the site.......but my friend and I were more than happy to stay... more

My fiancé and me decided to get married in India, as this is the place where we first met. We wanted a nice and private Hotel. On the net I stumbled across the Thapovan Hotel.
