Sapa Rooms is a well located, funky, fun great place to stay in Sapa. Marvelous staff, delicious food. I could not recommend it more highly. It has just the right vibe for a place like Sapa. The staff really makes you feel like family. We had a ball.

We didn't stay here but booked day trek to Ta Phin. We had a fantastic guide who lives in Ta Phin and we all loved the herbal bath at the end of the day. She even cooked our simple noodle lunch. The trek is a pretty gentle walk but simply spectacular with something new every few minutes, One of the... More

My wife & I stayed for 2 nights in April. I found the hotel nice enough - our room was adequate, the bed comfortable, the decorations quirky and interesting. Our room had a tiny balcony with an interesting but not particularly scenic view. The staff was very nice, courteous, and helpful. The restaurant was very limited but this isn't surprising... More

Our stay at Sapa Rooms far exceeded the regular experience of gaining a nice room for the night. Instead, we were caught up in a completely wonderful travel experience witnessing ethical tourism in practice. This boutique hotel is simply stylish and character filled with glimpses of Vietnamese culture at every turn. Situated in the midst of the central attractions of... More

This is basically a $20/night hotel, with great decoration, great food and good customer service. It's "hip" but the basic amenities should improve to justify the price. It is clean but not to western standards. The main issue is the location in a busy corner and the loud plumbing.

We arrived in Sapa last week early in the morning from Hanoi. We booked one room in the Elysian hotel and our room was not available until 1 p.m. It was very cold and we were tired so we decided to pay more (15 dollars with breakfast) and we had a room until 1 p.m. After that we had our... More

We had such a great time at Sapa Rooms, we wish we could have stayed longer! Great location, in the heart of beautiful Sapa, a few steps away from the market. The hotel is simple, cosy and clean. Food was excellent. But what made Sapa Rooms so special was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful... More

We had a magical 3 days in Sa Pa under the professional and very kind care of the wonderful staff at Sapa Rooms. The room was beautiful, as was the decor throughout the hotel and it's sister restaurant/lodge The Village Noshery. They have been extremely creative in the use of local materials to create beautiful and unique artistic spaces in... More

We stayed in Sapa over the first weekend in March and while it was cold and drizzly rain, it was one of the true highlights of our holiday in Vietnam. The staff and rooms at the Sapa rooms were fantastic, we stayed in a 'family deluxe' room, which was very roomy with adequate heating facilities. Food, breakfasts, support were wonderful... More
