This is only a small hotel but the rooms are very attractive and well proportioned with natural exposed stone/brick on one wall. Staff were very helpful at all times. Free wifi was a big bonus not expected. Although the hotel has no parking, there is a public car park a few minuted away, and the hotel is perfectly positioned just... more

We really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was quite spacious, although very hot at night from the under-the-floor heating. The restaurant was fabulous, with great service. The daily menu is €5 more at the weekend, but certainly worth it. The breakfast buffet was also varied and plentiful. more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our 6 week holiday in September and it was almost fantastic. The location is good, the service friendly enough and the building quite charming. All seemed well until a couple checked in next door to us and we realised that we could hear virtually everything from the adjoining room. Conversations,... more

Asked in advance if it would be noisy. If you have to work during the weekend, it's a practical joke to find two drunk couples slamming doors and shouting for over fifteen minutes within hearing distance from reception (even though the manager, whose voice sounded alike one of the men's, said when asked he knew "nothing about it"). The punishment... more

Las Leyandas has recently been renovated and it has been well done. Our room was spacious and well fitted out. It did face the cobbled road which was a little noisy but it didn't interrupt our sleep. The restaurant upstairs looks nice and has smoking and non smoking sections (something we didn't realise until we were sat in the wrong... more

Avila is a beautiful place - with the most extenisve and intact of midieval walls. Hotel las Leyendas is situated right within the walls. For a quiet location, reserved was one of the rooms facing the garden - and the request was met. The bathroom had the unique, original plumbing feature of the showers at Leyendas -- water appears color-coded... more

This might have been one of the best hotels in Europe! Hotel located in the city wall, very close to the city center. Difficult for the bus to get there, but we were absolutely charmed. Very nice rooms, and the attached restaurant might have offered us the best Spanish meal so far. more

A great place to stay in Ávila. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location just outside the city wall was very convenient to everything within the old city. There is a restaurant on the second level of the hotel opening onto a pedestrian walkway along the wall. Using that entrance made it possible to avoid all steps in... more

Avila looks like what a medieval city should - huge walls and ramparts and old buildings. Hotel Las Leyendas is built into these walls and has a great location (although the town is pretty small so other hotels are probably also great). The hotel was very new and the restaurant attached was crowded with locals for the good food. The... more

Hotel Las Leyendas is a great hotel to stay in. It's in a 16th century renovated building with everything you need. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend to others. Rooms are excellent, roomy and clean and staff friendly & helpful. The only complaint is the directions to the hotel could be improved - we found it... more
