Part of "Legendary Turkey" arranged by Odysseys Unlimited, Newton, Ma. The Nazlihan Hotel is a Bed-And-Breakfast, far from being 4 or 5 star hotel quality. We can find several places like this to visit in the United States. The bathroom shower had mold and mildew in it (see pictures), and the window screen had two (2) big holes in it... More

When it comes to location - it is right up there. Rooms, however, although not deprived of certain charm, are good only for a very short stay. As mentioned in other reviews - bathrooms are tiny, as are the rooms. Bed was Ok, but call it comfy would be a stratch. While we felt almost impressed with ottoman tiles and... More

Please read the review entitled "Awful". It takes the words right out of my mouth. This place has one quality of substance and that is location. Otherwise, it is tattered, so filthy dirt ran from the bath sink faucet, cramped and totally uncomfortable. If you can avoid it, choose another place. The staff treats you as if you were a... More

Musty, smelly, dark, dank, cramped, tiny little depressing room. Only two (2) electric outlets to charge your phone, camera, laptop, etc. Small, hard, lumpy bed. The air conditioning generator is very very loud, and cycles on and off incessantly. Closet-size bathroom with a low ceiling and a broken ventilation fan. The place seems to be run by a group of... We were staying at Nazlihan as part of a small group tour of south western Turkey -- and not an inexpensive one, I might add. The first room we were shown was at the back corner on the first (second to North Americans) floor. It had a stone wall, which gave it character, but it was very small, dark and... More

The Nazlihan is a converted sea side building and as such has some quirky features. It has charm, a gorgeous outdoor eating area for breakfast & dinner and views, but it also has small rooms, some of which do not have a window at eye level. Some bathrooms have sloped ceilings that make life difficult for taller people. I recommend this... More

Okay, I admit it. I am a sucker for small, out of the way, seaside venues with a harbor and fishing boats, turquoise blue water and old stone buildings. The rooms and en suite bathrooms are little jewels, underline the word "little". Exquisite, comfy, charming - but do not bring more than a small bag, there is really nowhere in... More
