On recommendation from friends, we went to the Assos Park hotel and unlike the other reviewer we enjoyed our experience very much! We left Istanbul by public long distance bus heading down to Ephesus. We just came back from a holiday in ASOS, Turkey, 13 August 2006. However I do not advise anyone to go and stay in the hotel called Assos Park Hotel, near Kadirga Beach. Assos Park Hotel is a couple of kilometres from the Assos/Behramkale township and ruins, back along the coast. It is a pleasant four-star hotel, with comfortable rooms, a lovely pool and outdoor dining area, and access to its own "beach", with sun lounges.
