In 2007 we stayed at the Konak Melsa - lovely building but the owner was clearly not cut out to deal with tourists. Dont stay here... its not worth the bother. We booked on the advice of a travel agent who had never been to this hotel... it was a mistake. When we arrived the first disappointment was that we certainly were not on the river as expected but instead down a dust track that felt like the middle of a building site.... more
