The hosts were welcoming and the accommodation comfortable. The house is situated close to Timaru but in a position that makes for a quiet stay. Two bedrooms share a cozy lounge which contained generous helpings of tea, coffee, etc. Free internet facilities were a bonus. The breakfast was good and prepared with great flair and creativity. more

We stayed here for 3 nights with John and Trish Blunden. We enjoyed a warm welcome from the hosts and their very friendly golden labrador, Ollie. We stayed in the tartan suite, which whilst the bathroom was not ensuite, it was private and had a fantastic big bath! The other room, the blue room, does have an ensuite. Very close... more

We fell in love with this B&B the minute we walked through the gate into a rose garden.Trish and John Blunden own this amazing home and property. The home is Victrioan, finished with New Zealand hardwoods. We arrived unexpectedly,but luckily there was room for us.
