The only way off campus is an excursion or bus trip 45+ min to town. No real hiking around there, dense forrest with little wildlife. Rooms are pretty darn small. We had great weather and great views of Mt. McKinley at the lodge. The rooms were fine -- nothing special, but okay. At the 20320 Gill and their main restaurant, we had excellent meals although they were a little pricey. The Cub Cafe is WAY over priced; lousy service, and very unfortable seats.
