The setting was gorgeous, the lake was beautiful and the hostess, Alice, was a sweet and fascinating lady. We stayed in the downstairs suite. The suite was private with a view of the lake, comfortable bed, kitchenette, private living room w/ wood stove, large steam shower (especially great on those cold mornings), and a private entrance. We woke up every morning to the sounds of the loons, the smell of french pressed coffee and a breakfast that would put any high-class restaurant to shame. We especially enjoyed the halibut! Alice, the hostess, was very helpful with information about the local area. There was a view from every window, a nice library of books, and a large deck overlooking the lake. This was probably one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever had. We will definitely be staying here again. more
