During our stay in Alaska, we had the misfortune to be in Alaska during the worst rains in 20 years. The main road to Denali washed out, the phone lines went down, and the rivers where we hoped to fish were blown out. We stayed 1 night in July in the McKinley room, their most expensive room with in-room 2 person jacuzzi and private solarium. Overall the property was quite lovely, everything was new and sparkling clean, and some of the views from the B&B were amazing. Sounds like the perfect upscale B&B on paper, but there were some things that just turned... more
June 2006 Although we usually dont stay at B&B's, I am so glad we did! Alaska was terribly expensive and it was hard to find rooms with queen beds so we stayed here. Room rates for the B&B were that same as the hotel rates in the same area. The beds were wonderful! First good nights sleep in 10 days.... more
