Fabulous views (when not raining!). Rooms look good initially- but will soon look shoddy as furnishings/bathroom fittings have been done on the cheap and there is an obvious lack of staff. Toilet seat was broken and due to shape of cistern would not stay up (for male use!). Flusher was broken, basin plug was off its chain, towel rail came... more

The hotel is located right by the beach (Newport Sands) and the Pembrokeshire coastal path (the hotel is about 2 miles to the village of Newport) so views from the large rooms are fantastic. This was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent value and accommodation of a much higher standard than we'd expected. Very comfortable, nicely decorated room; good bathroom; fantastic views both from the room and from the outside seating. Breakfast good for the money. more
After a long days travel and a late ferry crossing from Roslare to Fishguard, I telephoned the resort manager, Julian, as instructed and he arranged to meet us at the golf club entrance to show us to our accomodation.
