We stayed for one night at the Golden Lion in Newport for a visit to see family who live in the village. The Golden Lion is situated in the centre of the village and in a perfect location. Great food, great choice of beer! Nice and clean rooms, helpful staff. We liked the newly refurbished restaurant and cosy bar with open log fire. Just what you need after wet walk on coastal path! more
