Totaly bowled over by the newly refurbished rooms, the traditional bar with real ales and the restaurant should probably have a Rosette ! Newport is a lovely sleepy holiday destination and the Golden Lion is well worth visiting. I was only expecting a country pub with B&B this is something special. more

The Staff were so friendly and welcoming on arival and all weekend. As for the rooms, they were very comfortable and clean at a reasonable price.
