Just returned from this hotel it is the place to chill! The rooms are very clean quite spacious and very well attended to by the daily room boys We encountered a problem and were switched rooms very quickly and without us doing anything other than packing up and un packing again once luggage came to room. The laundry service in... more

We had mixed feelings over this hotel, we had comparisons to Makadi Bay and Sharm, and we loved Marsa Alam. The service is in most cases excellent, especially at evening meal, breakfast we only went to a couple of times, but seemed a bit more manic....with problems with no cups etc.... We were amazed everyone does say hello to you... more

We had been looking forward to this holiday for over a year and were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived everything was sheer bliss! Our room was number 2726 perfect for us round the back overlooking the sea. Our room boy Mohammed looked after us brilliantly for the whole fortnight. We had a different towel shape every single day.... more

We also stayed at the Coraya Beach in the same group as Michael and Pat 22-29/4/09. Everything said here by the 2UKtravellers is true about the hotel. However if you go on the Thomson Hamata Island trip (their alleged top selling trip in this area) to do snorkelling and see the Ospreys nesting on one of the small islands, DO... more

We have just spent 7 days with all the staff at coraya beech what a great place to unwind and be pampered. This reveue is open and honest. with bad as well as good. First The flights are cramped and very long for such small planes. With cabin staff that are rude and allways moaning that its a 14 hour... more

We have just returned from the Coraya and have stayed several times before. There have been a few changes, only minor but the service and standard is as always excellent and is led by the general manager Mr Saber who has an excellent management team behind him. We saw major changes to the whole resort of Coraya bay since our... more

My wife and I have just spent another excellent holiday at this lovely hotel. It is tops with us on value for money and throughly deserves the number one ranking in Marsa Alam hotels, if not in the whole of Egypt. We have already booked to return again at the end of September. The only negative side to the holiday... more

Marsa Alam airport is modern and smart, clean toilets, Costa coffee shop, pizza place etc. A private airport where you are not allowed to stay for more than 2 hours, so if you are unfortunate to get a delay for more than that, at least you know you will be kept at the hotel with all facilities available. Visa card... more

did quite extensive research for my first trip to Egypt - worried about stomach troubles, too many Russians, security but all this vanished after arrival at the Coraya. Supermodern and nice airport, no crowds at all, 10 min transfer to hotel, first impression very good, nice architecture - Prince Charles would approve! - well organised reception, room very nice (1718)... more

I had chosen this hotel very carefully having read many good reviews over many months and therefore I did expect it to be really good. I was not disapointed. We had never gone for AI before but I am glad we did absolutely everything you could imagine was included and therefore we knew there would be no big bill at... more
