Overall we had a good time I wouldn't say there was anything wrong with the hotel it was just in my opinion rated too high. Only one main restaurant, buffet style the food was very repetitive and not a great variety in choice, you need to remember that 75% of the guests at the hotel are Italian so they cater... more

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks, the hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Entertainment There is no entertainment appart from the man 'singing' in the lobby bar and he tries to sing the same tunes every night and never gets any better. If you wanted to see a show of dancers, snake charmers or... more

My husband and I booked this hotel as the reviews given by Thomson were really good. We stayed for two weeks, but unfortunately spent most of the time (along with a large percentage of the other hotel guests) with food poisoning. So bad, that I ended up on a drip as my body could take no more. I have no... more

Having read previous reviews and, subsequently, the reaction of the Calimera Hibba refugees on having been moved to Dreams Beach I started my stay there with some trepidation! Journey time from the airport to the hotel took about 45mins. The coach we travelled on went direct to the hotel as Dreams Beach is actually nearer to El Quiser than Marsa... more

Travelled to the Dreams Beach in June 2008. Found the hotel in isolated area (which I enjoyed) about 30 mins from the Airport. The hotel itself was great. The staff were very helpfull and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room were very spacious and of an excellent standard. Food was good, found something to eat every night but... more

Having originally booked to go to the Calimera Habiba Beach resort with Thomas Cook, we were informed 4 weeks before our departure that there was an overbooking issue and we were moved to the Dreams Beach for two weeks from 14 May - 28 May. Although the staff at the resort are great and will go out of there way... more

We booked via Thomas Cook Grounds Considering the hotel is in the middle of nowhere the grounds are like a little oasis. Fantastic flowers and plants and lots of interesting birdies to watch. Pools There are numerous pools. We only used the main pool which was great although I did tend to get a bad stomach on the days i... more
