We spent 16 days traveling all over Alaska and this was hands-down our favorite place. I have never, ever seen such clean, inviting cabins! I am such a clean freak that I bring our own sheets no matter how expensive the hotel, but in this place I was completely comfortable. When we arrived the cabin was pre-heated and the lights... more

Adorable, cute cabins. I made reservation a month in advance. We stayed on my husband's birthday, and they made a birthday cake for him! The cabins are clean with all the ammenities. Cozy beds, too. They have puppies on site, for sale. Loved just sitting back and watching them. Park across the street for the kiddos to run around. Had... more

these are very nice, comfortable, well appointed cabins at the far end of Tok. The complimentary breakfasts (home made belgium waffles) were particularly good. The only down side is that it's a long way away from "Fast Eddie's" which is the only decent eating option in Tok. On balance, it probably makes sense to stay at Youngs motel (next to... more

We stayed here twice during our trip. Once on the way to the Yukon, then again on the way back. Great little cabins. Nice decor. Clean. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. The owner of the establishment lives on the premises and is delightful. We hope to visit Alaska again and will definately stay here. There are only a few cabins,... more

The Burnt Paw and Cabins is located along the Alaska Highway half way between Anchorage and Whitehorse Yukon. If you are planning to drive between these two points, it makes sense to stop. I was glad I did. The cabins are rustic on the outside complete with sods roofs. However once you are inside, you have all the amenities of... more

Attractive, clean, and comfortable cabins-- rustic on the outside but modern on the inside (including television, stall shower, double sinks, and table and chairs ), with Alaskan themed decor. (There's no fridge in the room, but the owner let us use the freezer in the storage room.) The property includes lots of nice touches, like a dog kennel with puppies,... more

On our cross country trip starting in Anchorage. We decided that Tok was a perfect stopping point for the night before crossing into Canada. Wow were we right. We got Cabin #5 (I think) they kept calling it the "new cabin". It has two queen beds very plush and cozy comforters. A small sitting area, nice wash basin and very... more

Bill and Nancy, they are wonderful people, she is a lot of fun, and very friendly, he is a charmer. He was in the very first iditerod, and after suffering for... more
