We were disappointed that the hotel restaurant was closed indefinitely. The hotel sits on a beautiful lake but our only view was of the parking lot. This was the only place we stayed at in Alaska that could not offer any suggestions or maps for nearby hiking trails or walks. more

Stayed one night here. Grounds are very well-kept and pretty. Lots of room to walk near the lake, and places to sit outside for enjoying the view. We didn't eat here, so can't critique the food. Was expecting a dump, I guess, but it had a really nice, quiet, beautiful view of the lake and Talkeentna mountain range. Room was your standard Best Western stuff, nothing overly special. Continental breakfast was pretty good. more

The Best Western Lake Lucille was great! Although the hotel lobby is a bit dated, the rooms are nicely appointed. Mini-fridge, updated furniture, and great view. The hotel recently went through a remodel and everything was very nice. The rooms were nicely decorated with balconys and comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was included. We missed the hotel/bar that used to operate in the hotel and now that area is vacant. I would recommend anyone stay at the Lake Lucille Lodge. more

We had a very comfortable room overlooking the lake. Spotlessly clean and well decorated. The restaurant looked closed - though they said it was being renovated, but a very good breakfast was produced. Very quiet. View was breath taking. more

A great position overlooking a lake with the hotel grounds running down to the water. The rooms on the lake side have balconies. There are suites which are very spacious with two balconies.
