Has everything one needs. Continental breakfast is fine (toast and jam, cereal, etc.) Sandwich lunches and dinneres by pre-arrangement. Walls are thin, so don't say or do anything you don't want the folks in the next room to hear. No towel racks in the bathrooms, but we got adjusted to this oddity. Free cable internet, phones in the rooms. Casual.... more

I travel to Wrangell, Alaska for business at least 6 times a year and I always stay at the Sourdough Lodge. And I always recommend people stay at the Sourdough Lodge when in Wrangell. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the Alaskan Sourdough Lodge! Bruce has created a wonderful oasis of clean welcoming rooms which has the added attraction of a very adequate breakfast included in the quite reasonable price! Our salmon dinner was superb! Harding's is one of only a few hotels in Wrangell. It's a friendly outpost in a small town. They'll pick you up at the plane and return you to the airport. Breakfast is included - cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast. Dinner is served family style and you must let Bruce know ahead of time so he can prepare enough. The day... more

An outstanding lodge. Bruce will work with you to make your Alaska experience a memorable event. I have stayed there for the past fifteen years and will continue to do that annually. A great place. more

The Sourdough was great! We had a fabulous "home style meal". The room was CLEAN and the place has always been smoke free from the begining, I believe to be around 1978, according to Bruce Harding, owner of the lodge and Mayor of Wrangell.
