We stayed here one night. The room was clean with a nice quilt on the bed. Furniture was shabby but acceptable. A lot of dust clouded up when we opened the shades. A vague, persistent smell of smoke told us this was not always a nonsmoking room. Be sure to ask for one of the rooms with new tile in... more

We found the Bisbee Oliver House full of true Bisbee spirit. It was funky, full of art, easy to float in and out of. We would definitely stay here again because it feels like the real-Bisbee-deal-- not something concocted for the tourists. more

The bad: The room was incredibly dirty, hadnt been swept in eons, the rug on the floor was so dirty it covered my feet black. The beds (my party had more than one room) all had stains on the sheets, things were falling apart, the sink didnt work. The windows were propped open by bars I could not remove, the... more

Oliver House is a cute place right near downtown Bisbee. Each of the rooms has a cute name and is decorated in a particular theme. That part was great and very cute. We stayed in The Morning Glory and I think it was the best room in the place. Many of the rooms had a shared bathroom, as did ours,... more

This house is in a fabulous location, but very hard to find. Luckily, a kind local gave us good directions. We were delighted to see that the old house has great bones and appeared very clean and utilitarian. No yucky lace doilys. The rooms we were in was basically a bed and a small loveseat, but that was fine. The... more

I was born and raised in Bisbee. The owner of The Oliver House is Patty, a longtime family friend. She dated my fater for a long time while I was growing yup. I went to school with her kids and we remain good friends. The only night I spent there was back in 2003. I slept in a modest room... more

So we were expecting a hauntingly good time for an overnight stay on New Years Eve 2005. What we initially found was a great old house with twenty rooms or so, wood floors, grand windows, more than a few large mirrors about, and friendly folk at the greeting. Artifacts hanging on the walls in each room reminicent of "the old... more

I stayed here over Labor Day weekend 2004. Three friend and I stayed in the Morning Glory Room. The place is nice but they charge $20 per person for more than double occupancy. There is a very nice old black lab named Brice that lives outside in the yard. The place is definetely haunted though. At 2:30am we were all... more

Family from Connecticut and Florida arrived the first week of August, 2004 in Bisbee to attend the festivities of my daughter's wedding. Most of us stayed at the Oliver House. Patty, the proprietess, treated us as long-time friends. We felt as if we were staying in a large home of a family member. Every morning she offered fresh coffee and... more

We stayed at the Oliver House in Bisbee, AZ over Memorial Day weekend, 2004. From the outside it's very old and quite lovely with big trees, a bridge you must cross to the house, and old iron gates. There is a porch on the top level with beautiful views and a front porch with nice shade. The house is a... more
