A return visit to the Jonquil did not disappoint and I stand by my original review. The Jonquil is in the perfect spot for visiting Bisbee and steeping yourself in its history and cultural. The rooms are comfortable, clean and private, the ladies who manage the motel are courteous, friendly and welcoming. Best value in town for accommodation. It is... More

This motel is located above the town and is an older property. The rooms are small, and the walls are thin. The bed was great. For the price of $95/night, I'd expect two-ply toilet paper and better toiletries. The mural on the parking lot side of the motel is awesome and a great story to boot.

We've stayed twice at the Jonquil and will again if in Bisbee. The Jonquil has character and history. The rooms are charmingly decorated, very clean and full of "finds" from the area's shops and sales. They're small, since the property dates to the "motor court" days, but modern and comfortable with cable and free WiFi. The owner/manager's pleasant and helpful.... More

This motel is very old and in not great shape. But, it gets worse. The prices per night are very high (my opinion only worth 50 USD per night), no breakfast, no refrigerator, no microwave, no telephone, some street noise and worst of all, not even close to downtown. You are better off to stay at the San Jose Lodge... More

The Jonquil Motel in Bisbee stands as part of the Historical Highway 80 corridor that runs through Old Bisbee. The Jonquil was built in the 1930's, and we are currently operating the updated inn with the retro-feel, as it was 80+ years ago. We are right on Main Street, 2 minutes by car or motorcycle from the downtown coffee bar.... More

We chose the Jonquil Motel based on its reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. This really is a gem of a place run by the most charming people. It is clean, neat, and was exactly what we were looking for. The biggest pluses were that it is in easy walking distance, through a nice neighborhood, of the... More

My friend and I spent four nights in the Jonquil Hotel. Each of us had our own room. This is a great place to stay. My room was clean, the bed could of not been anymore comfortable! The Jonquil is older but well cared for with updates in progress. The room had such a welcoming feeling. Laura and Linda are... More

We've stayed at the Jonquil many, many times over the last few years, So it's obvious that we love the place. Yeah, it's old, but so what! It's clean, the beds are awesome, and it's far enough from downtown that you don't hear all the noise at night, yet close enough so that you can walk downtown. Our most recent... More

There were things I liked about this hotel; I liked having 2 bedrooms with a living room. I also liked the carport you had with this room. The owner was extremely nice, told me of the artist who painted the mural on the side wall of the motel, that was interesting. Really, it wasn't such a bad place, but I... More

Went for a quick vacation, had stayed here years ago, so came again. Yes the rooms are tiny, but you are in an old place! They are rightly proud of their wonderful linens! Beautiful! Even for the tiny size of the room, the tv seemed too small, though. courtyard is lovely and quiet. nice when there are other guests to... More

The Jonquil is a small, beautifully maintained and independent motel just minutes walk from the centre of Bisbee. I have just stayed there for three wonderfully relaxing nights. The rooms, as stated by others are small as you would expect from a property of this age, but they are very comfortable. The linens are of high quality and the bed... More
