This is basically a new hotel but apparently was built on the cheap. The fridge in my room was so loud it kept us awake at night, same with the A/C and fan. Prompt and friendly reception staff. Room was more than adequate, providing fridge and microwave. Excellent cleanliness, throughout the hotel. Our room had a wonderful view of the fountain. A modern Holiday Inn in the pleasant and peaceful residential area of Fountain Hills, about 25 miles from downtown Phoenix (ugh!) and 12 miles or so from Scottsdale(better). I read some great reviews for this hotel, so booked it for my week at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, an easy 6 miles away. My room overlooked the famous fountain and park. Walked around the park every morning and night. Room was immaculate; staff very helpful and professional. Business center with two computers was a big plus. Nice pool area.... more
