I have stayed at this resort many times in the past 20 years and have always loved it. We usually stay around August/Sept. In 2008 we stayed and the place was the best that I had ever seen it. The cabin was exceptionally clean, the grounds were just fantastic with lushious green grassy areas, free of all the weeds it used to have. The roads on the property had been very well maintained and we even noticed the mainenance person working on them during our stay.The people in charge were very helpful and curtious, and came to our cabin to see if there was anything we needed. The one guy even went out of his way to take our boys fishing.
This time when we stayed the cabin was not at its best, the grounds had no green grass, and were very weedy. The roads could use some attention. The cabin was not stocked well with wood. I know it was summer time but it still gets chilly in the evening for those of us from a warmer climate.
